Raise Right Fundraising
What is Raise Right?
RaiseRight Gift Card Fundraising (formerly ShopwithScrip) is an optional rebate program where participants can purchase physical gift cards, reloadable gift cards, or e-gift cards from over 750 retailers and receive a percentage of the purchase to their student’s fundraising account. The money earned can then be applied to Chorus trips, district choir auditions, or state choir auditions. All participants must complete the annual Woodson Choral Boosters Fundraising Shopping with RaiseRight Agreement and pay the $10 annual fee.
New Members need to create an account.
Contact the RaiseRight Coordinator for the unique Woodson Choral Booster enrollment code.
Paying for Cards
Bank Account
Connect a bank account to your RaiseRight account to cover the cost of your gift cards. There is a $0.15 fee for each order placed. It may take 2-3 days for the transaction to appear in your bank account.
Credit Card
Connect a credit card to your account. There is a 2.60% fee for each transaction, so your rebates are reduced with this option.
Check
Send a check to the RaiseRight Coordinator to cover the cost. These orders will only be processed after the check has cleared the bank.
*Family rebate accounts are updated regularly. To learn how much is in your family’s fundraising account, contact the RaiseRight Coordinator.
How Much Can I Save?
This really depends on how much you use the program. Cards are available for many different types of retailers and the amount rebated varies by retailer.
Stores such as Giant, Safeway, Shoppers, CVS, Shell Oil, Macy’s, Wendy’s, Panera, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Home Depot, LL Bean, Target, Amazon, Chipotle, Starbucks, Staples, Ulta, Uber, and Dell are all participating retailers.
Check the full list of participating retailers and their rebate percentages on their website.
Several times each year, RaiseRight has bonus days where retailers offer an added percentage to the rebates of cards purchased. This information is available if you sign up for their email.
How Do I Collect My Rebates?
The vast majority of RaiseRight program participants use the rebates to offset the cost of the Choral Department Spring Trip. You also have the option of rolling over your balance to the next school year, or to a younger member of the family who also participates in Chorus. Alternatively, you can donate your unused balance to the Woodson Choral Boosters for use in support of the Choral Program. To request the use of funds, complete the Request to Use Student RaiseRight Funds.
